I actually have a lot of things to talk about today but they're all game related stuff. I started playing Pokemon TCG Pocket. There is no deep or compelling reason I just thought it looked fun. I'm still building up cards right now. The way the economy works is you can open one pack every 12 hours, buy you get items that can speed it up by 1 hour (and you can buy gold that speeds it up by 2 hours), so you can open packs faster but are guarenteed 2 a day. Also each major set is divided into 3 subsets, each of which have some amount of mutually exclusive cards. I've mostly been opening packs that would get me closer to the more meta decks I wanna play but I should maybe be opening Charizard packs just so I can cards for a Blaine deck (one of the better budget decks right now and also it runs Ninetales) but idk. My Emerald progress is also slight today, but I got those two evolutions I was working on yesterday. There's just one more 1 stage poke left (Shroomish).

Also new Arknights event, and the summer event (which takes place in winter because 6 months behind), which means the game has shit that actually feels like not a waste of money to buy. My income is honestly a lot higher than I was expecting (but I'm still not sure it's enough to move out), so I honestly don't mind splurging a little bit. As long as I don't become a big spender and gamble away all my irl money (which I don't really have any desire to) and can actually afford to spend the money I do spend then I'm fine. Also summer event means limited banner, and I actually got the operator I want from it (Narantuya) with the freebie 10 roll. I also got a Top Op tag earlier today, so I guess Arknights ate all my luck.
